Mosaic Monday – Mosaic of Mosaics

Mosaic Monday is hosted by Mary at The Little Red House. Won’t you please head on over and visit Mary, and other MM participants? Mary’s mosaic this week is extraordinarily stunning!

I promise, I’m not going to post anymore about our visit to Philadelphia’s Magic Garden, but since it’s all about mosaics there, what better subject for my Mosaic Monday post! If you would like to know a little more about PMG, click on the link! It is hard to convey the uniqueness and beauty in pictures, but I hope I give you just a hint with my mosaic.

Quick facts
Artist – Isaiah Zabar, most of the mosaics are created with found/recycled items. This gallery appears in the middle of the city, and was once a run down row house/empty lot. There are over 50 murals created by the artist in other locations around the city.

Have a fabulous day!

  3. What a MARVELOUS mosaic of colorful textured mosaics. Methinks I could stare at this one for HOURS if I had a bit of discretionary time. Alas, I've got class in a couple of hours and need to catch up on blog visits so I've bookmarked the page and plan to return when time permits. Many of the individual mosaics would make marvelous Color Carnival posts … so perhaps you'll revisit at least some of them šŸ˜‰
