RED, White and Blue

Election Day has arrived her in the United States. I have to admit I have not always taken my right to vote seriously, using the excuse my one little vote won’t count. This is when I was younger. Now of course I know how important it is to exercise my privilege. The only red, I could think of to share was Old GLory, the RED, White and Blue. This photo was taken from Camden, NJ looking across the Delaware River at Philadelphia, were the Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4, 1776, to form our nation!

Blues Skies over Philly

There hasn’t been much blue in these parts the past few days. The weekend brought a cold front that finally helped it feel like Autumn. With it it came clouds and rain. I haven’t minded much. I greatly needed some down time this past weekend, I was fighting off a bug of some sort, so adventures in the great outdoors were just not that appealing. Tara and I spent time watching movies and lots of episodes of My Fair Wedding on Netflix. Tara has been battling allergies and now, sadly, I think my bug.

I’m not seeing blue skies out my window, I’ll share a couple shots I took in Camden, NJ on a rather beautiful day, not so long ago!

Philly Skyline

I spent the day last Friday (and I’m heading back there today) in Camden, NJ across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. It was a rainy, drizzly overcast kind of day, but I did get a few shots of the Philly Skyline and the Ben Franklin Bridge.
